Not every week goes the way the plan says it should. Fractions were the wall this month, and by Wednesday the worksheet was in the bin rather than on the desk.
We stepped back and rebuilt the lesson around halving a loaf of bread instead of dividing shapes on paper. It was slower, and it worked.
