First Declension Week
Latin was the subject we expected the most resistance on. Instead it became the week she asked to keep going past our planned hour.
We kept the method simple: a slate, a chalk stub, and one declension pattern drilled until it was boring, then one sentence built from scratch to prove it had stuck.
By Friday she was correcting our endings before we finished the word.
